I started to sub just to see what grade I possibly wanted to teach when it came to music, but I think that it just made me even more confused. I love almost all of them. Here are the classes that I've taught so far.
Kindergarten, First, confined Special Ed 1-3, Fourth, Sixth, 7-8 Special Ed.
I have no idea what I want to teach. It is quite definate that when you get to about fourth grade the students have a small additude, but It isn't too bad. I have loved them all especailly Jr. High Special ed, but I don't know if it is because of the certain teachers that are there or the certain kids I get to see. I teach quite frequently in there and I love it so much.
All I know is that I want to be a teacher. I still have a passion for music, but I don't know if I can make it through the program. I really wish that I had the confidence that I was lacking. Another thing that I get frustrated about is that sometimes you have to really put on a show for the kids to get them to listen. Boy have times changed from those who are excited to learn to those who are ready to get out of school fast.
I love teaching though. To think of all of those minds that you get to help develop for the better is amazing! I want to share so many thoughts with those kids. I want to teach about the world and how they can be better leaders by presenting qualities that people have forgotten about. I want to help them become better people, better parents, and better in their communities. I don't know if this sounds too crazy, but I think that we are in need of these things and i don't know if we forget about these things sometimes. We get so busy thinking that we have to be better than all these other countries that we forget about how are country in looking as a whole. We forget out integrity and our true American dream. Don't get me wrong, math, science, and etc. are very important, but what will our future look like without these life lessons.
Most teachers realize that students are not being taught at home like they used to be. There is no discipline or respect. Homes are crumbling all around us and there isn't much we can do. It is true that satan is starting his attack where it hurts and that is on the families. I can only pray that we can teach and help those in need of it as much as we can.
May we all see to our children as a shepherd would see to his flock.

I am currently in California on a siblings babysitting tour. Prior to that, Marae & I had been working for our brother for a few weeks and prior to that we were in Maine for the summer. I am graduated and looking for that next good move in my life. Marae will probably end up convincing me to move to provo with her. Craig gets back from his mission in December and my parents are looking for the right time to go on a mission. What is future life looking like for you? I bet you are an incredible teacher.
Enjoyed the BLOG!
